To avoid any potential penalties to member websites from search engines such as Google, all links to merchant listings now default to using "nofollow" tags.

Merchants who prefer not to have nofollow links used can turn this setting off. To change the nofollow link setting, log into the merchant account area, click on Edit Details next to your website name and scroll down to the "Website Listing Options" box. Change the value for "Use nofollow links" to "No" and click on the continue button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.

After changing the service's name from the eTrust Network to the SiteTrust Network in June 2007, we are now retiring support for the original etrustnetwork.com domain.

All links referencing etrustnetwork.com will cease directing to sitetrustnetwork.com on April 30, 2014.

Our back link checks haven't unearthed any members still referencing etrustnetwork.com, but for those who haven't updated their links since 2007, simply change any link or image URL that references www.etrustnetwork.com to www.sitetrustnetwork.com.

SiteTrust Network members now have the ability to update website thumbnails that are out of date.

The SiteTrust Network report pages and directory listings feature website thumbnails for our member websites. These thumbnails are refreshed approximately once a month, but members can refresh the thumbnail themselves if the thumbnail is out of date. This is often the case after a site redesign.

To update your website thumbnail log into the account area and click on 'Edit Details' next to your website name. Scroll down to the 'Third Party Data' section and click on the thumbnail update link.

The SiteTrust Network has undergone a site redesign. This involves the site logo, and in turn, the Trust Seals. Existing merchants are encouraged to update their Trust Seals to reflect the new design.

The feedback feed display and merchant section will be updated to reflect the changes over the next day or so.
